Ps4 to Laptop ?

Hi. I just bought a ps4 and I have a hdmi cable for it but I have an old tv that only has composite video ( the yellow cable ).

I will buy a hdmi to composite soon but in the mean time i want to test the ps4 to know if it works and stuff. 

Is there a way to connect it to my laptop with hdmi ? Without internet ?

Not without specialized hardware as the HDMI port on a laptop is output only.

If you want to verify the PS4 works? Yes. Or you can buy an HDMI capture device to use on your laptop.

Oh well... Amazon ships in 2 days. I guess I can wait that much :/
