Hello to all,

I have a question, i am software developer and my wife is Graphic Designer. We would like to upgrade our computers and i came out with the crazy idea of buying an iMac Pro with 10 core Intel Xeon 32GB RAM AMD VEGA 64 and 2TB ssd. The main concept is for both of us to  simultaneously work on the IMAC, i will use the extra screen as separate desktop with another set of keyboard and mouse, also when i need to use windows i can use parallels on second screen. Will that work? is the I MAC pro capable on working intensive workload in a scenario of BIG Databases (Average of 4GB) while working on Photoshop and illustrator  with many layers and video editing (not rendering)? Will Linus be able to create this scenario? It will be more amazing if this setup could handle simultaneous gaming as well.

your looking for a hackintosh not a iMac you will give that thing a heart attack trying to run that kind of load in 2 virtual machines on it it has the specks to do it but the form factor is what screws it up its to much heat and I think you might need a bit more GPU than the single vega 64 for that also.

the problems and the promises of hackintosh  the virtual machine issue im not sure about in mac but you cant just add a keyboard and mouse usually they cancel each other out its a interesting idea though using one mac to have 2 people running 2 different work loads and possible in theory I kinda want to see linus do a test on VMs on mac on their hackintosh they built.
