Thinking about building a Pc, though don't know what components to use,

My currant theoretical config is a ASUS GTX 1060 OC 6gb, Ryzen 7 2700X, 16 gb DDR4 RAM, and a bunch of other components you probably wouldn't recognise by name.

In theory, it would be able to run pretty much any AAA title with ease, though I have one problem:

This system coasts $2100 Australian dollars, and I don;t have that much to spend. Does anyone have more coast efficient components that would deliver good performance (Not necessarily the same) The only requirements are to be able to run most competitive games (Such as CS:GO, Overwatch, PUBG, TF2, COD, etc..) at 60+ FPS at 1080p and high settings.

Thanks, ThatOtherGuy* (Not 'gut'... lol)

Do you need a monitor?

Probably just get an R5 1600/R5 2600, and RX 570s were way cheaper than 1060s last I checked in AUS.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Thanks for suggestions, though I'm still worried about bottlenecks.

AN i5 8600K just wouldn't be able to keep up with something like a 1060 6gb, let alone the 1080 that was suggested.

Though I could not find a processor (According to Userbench) that could match (For the price) A Ryzen 7 2700X, I did find a comparable CPU I could find was the Ryzen 5 2600X; Though I'm still worried about bottlenecks.

Also, thx SilenceT, that post was helpful, though I have already established the best motherboard, RAM, etc.. (And it was the exact same stuff that was recommended)
