I don't think it would be too much of a bottleneck, but that processor is pretty old now and in some newer games it may very well bottleneck even a GTX 1050 ti. I don't know what games you're playing, but in games such as Battlefield 1, The Witcher 3, GTA V, anything that stresses the processor, that old Phenom will slow things down, especially in multiplayer games. In 64 player conquest in BF4, for example, that processor will definitely start choking. I wouldn't suggest upgrading to anything that is supported on that socket, however, as even the 9590 would only make for marginal improvements in gaming performance. Fact of the matter is anything that is available on that socket just isn't worth buying any more. I'd either stick with what you have and make compromises to the detail settings where necessary or upgrade the entire platform.
