Davinci Resolve laptop

I am currently looking for a laptop that I will use for video editing I have very little preference in hardware manufacturers or program except I will not use any subscription based program.

 

In doing my own research I found the dell Inspiron (specs in image below)

 

I also would prefer to use Davinci Resolve but if that isn’t possible with any laptop then I can switch programs.

Inspiron series (non gaming) are overpriced and not worth it

 

Budget? Location? Preferred display size, weight and battery life? Do you need a good quality display?

Depends on your budget

 

But I HIGHLY recommend getting a Macbook Pro if you have the budget, since Blackmagic always prioritize in optimising their stuff for MacOS first

But if you prefer Windows, I would suggest getting a second-hand XPS
