Would This work?

Im wondering if a 300w power supply would work.

Its an old one and its meant for work PC's so I may not.

I've done some research but nothing conclusive so im asking for some help on this one.

You need minimum of 450w I would say, but where is your ram and storage?

It'll work fine, I used to run my I7 6700K with a GTX 1060 3GB on a 450W psu.

The MSI - B350 PC MATE ATX AM4 Motherboard can only use DDR4-1866 / 2133 / 2400 / 2666 / 2933 / 3200... just wanted to point that out to you.  I think I read on one of your other posts that you have DDR3 RAM?  Good luck
