Hi all

I am in the middle of my Master in Computer Engineering, and my old laptop is running on it's last days. Because of this, I am looking for at new laptop that will take me through my last year and a half through university. I already have a gaming rig for my needs, so what I am looking for is a light-weight laptop, maybe even an ultrabook, that can sustain programming (C, C++, Java and python), matlab, some few simulation tools and maybe a bit of unity. Because of this, I am not in need  of raw strength and would rather spend my money on portability, battery and storage (1TB could be nice, but 500GB should be fine).

I am from Denmark and the places I normally buy from are https://www.proshop.dk/https://www.dustinhome.dk/ and https://www.fcomputer.dk/
My budget is around 7.000 DKK (~950€), but if there are some excellent laptops that cost more, please share them with me. My knowledge on laptops is not that great, and I hope some of you can help me.

Regards

XPS seems a bit out of my price range, but the inspiron could be a go. What are your reasons to suggest those two? :D

There's a new HP Pavilion refresh for this year with Ryzen processors, I'm currently looking at them for college too.

The easiest way for me to do this was by making some links on the three sides that I am using with the pricetag limited to my budget, I hope this is fine :)

8250U:

Proshop 8250U

Dustin 8250U

Fønix Computer 8250U

8550U:

Proshop 8550U

Dustin 8550U

Fønix Computer 8550U

And thank you for the help btw :D
