Might have gone a little overkill, but after playing on a laptop whose only function was to assist me in completing school work, I decided to go all out. I hope to never again get sub 20 frames while running minimal settings. Also, I wished to create a system I won't have to upgrade for a long time. I'm looking forward to playing games such as Rise of the Tomb Raider and Metal Gear Solid TPP at 90-100+ frames on maxed settings. Another goal of mine was to create a small form factor case as I am currently a high school senior and in the coming year when I move off to college a smaller sized pc may be a life saver. I know I have missed out on a hard drive, but in this micro atx case there is only one 3.5 inch drive cage so I'm going to survive off the 500 gbs for now until I can comfortable afford a 3 or 4 tb hard drive that should last me a long time. Any advice on cpu vs gpu performance for the price would be greatly appreciated. I can't afford both a 1080 ti and an i7 8700k, but after research I have concluded that the i5 8600k should get me almost the same performance at a much reduced cost.
