Issues reinstalling windows 7

Go to solution Solved by Matsy,

cd

Try a USB instead if you can (4GB+)

Do either of these methods:

1.

Format the USB then

Download the appropriate ISO from http://www.w7forums.com/threads/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-image-downloads.12325/

Mount it to the USB with http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

2.

1.  Open command prompt (run as admin)

2.  type "diskpart" and hit enter

3.  type "list disk" and hit enter, you will be able to see by the size column which one is your usb stick

4.  Say its disk 2, type "select disk 2" and hit enter

5.  Wipe it by typing "clean" and hit enter

6.  When thats done type "create partition primary" hit enter

7.  type "select partition 1" and hit enter

8.  type "active" and hit enter

9.  type "format fs=fat32" and hit enter and let it run.

10.  type "assign" and hit enter

11.  Open the CD and drag all the files onto the USB.  It's now a boot drive.

I decided to do a fresh install of windows 7 today due to some issues(have gone through a lot of hardware before I did this so many drivers were butting heads) but that doesn't really matter

I opted to delete my whole ssd and keep my 500gb hdd with all of its files

I proceeded to install all seemed good

But now I'm stuck at 0% at the expanding windows files thingy

Anyhelp?

I guess I'll try this once I can find a USB flash drive somewhere

Take off some USB plugs that may interfere with the installation, like printers.
