I like it, the component choice is excellent. Are you thinking of adding any additional case fans for improved airflow? It'll help for temperatures particularly since the 8700K is a hot CPU which needs all the help it can get, especially when streaming.

Hello Everyone! I am trying to build a PC for my brother as he wants to start his own youtube channel and eventualy do some streaming in the future. He wants the build to be around 3000$ after tax witch in my area is around 8.4%. I have put togeather a list on PC part picker and I would love your imput. He does have to get Monitors as well included in that budget. Any recomandations would be great. Thanks!

Corsair SP, AF, and LL fans are all good choices for fans, even moreso since they would match the case. ;) I don't know too much about that Corsair case but I would recommend the Corsair AF120/140 fans because they prioritse airflow over everything else, and the case looks extremely spacious and should use airflow fans.

I personally use four of the Corsair SP120 fans for my NZXT S340, reason being is because static pressure is more focused on the smaller airflow crevices rather than pure airflow, and being an NZXT S340 with a tower air cooler, it's perfect.

Corsair LL fans are the holy RGB fans, to put it simple, they're beautiful.

It all depends on what you want and what kind of airflow you exxpect.

Btw, you could consider getting a liquid cooler, such as a captain ex or like a h80i.

I did consider it but we dont think that we are going to over clock the system so it didnt seem nessisary

since he's doing streaming, I'd recommend looking at a ryzen 1800x or 2700 instead. he doesn't need 32gb of ram, just get 16 for now and upgrade when he needs it. i doubt he needs NVME, get a 500GB MX500 instead. the G3 has issues with protections, get a G2/G1+ or corsair TXM/RMx instead.

I agree with what @Herman Mcpootis says, go for ryzen for streaming and video editing, the extra cores and threads are pretty helpful.

you can try getting some phanteks halos fan frames and an phanteks rgb adaptor, connect it directly to your mobo for RGB. saves money on RGB fans.
