Motherboard: MSI H110M Gaming

CPU:Intel I5 6400 2.7 Ghz

OS: Windows 7 Home

GPU: NVDIA Zotac 750ti

Problem is I tried installing as many drivers as I could that wouldn't detect my ethernet cable, this is the second time it happened. First time fixed after reinstalling ethernet drivers.

It says that there is no ethernet plugged in, but there is. I'm pretty sure the cable isn't broken as I've tried 2. I don't know what to do so I came here for help.

If you boot into a Live Linux USB does ethernet detect? If yes, problem is Windows. If no, problem is either BIOS setting or failed hardware.
