hello

i need some help with vsync setting in nvidia control panel

i play battlefield 1 on 1080p 144hz monitor with gtx 1080ti while in multiplayer sometimes during huge shit goin around the frame rate goes to 80-90 and generally stays 100-120 other times when thers not much goin around it goes to 200

i dnt experince lag but it shutters when fps drops and its always fluctuating up and down

but since i dnt hav a g sync monitor i cannot use it so what setting should i go for in the nvidia control panel with v sync fast adaptive or off

should i limit fps in game?

i just want a smooth experince

fast sync only applies if frame rate goes beyond refresh rate in my case it happens rarely it drops below because theirs always shit happening around and then it shutters and drops how can i eliminate that

how much lag will i get if i enable plain vsync from bf1 or from nvidia panel

my monitor says it has 1ms response time does that help reducing vsync lag?

what it triple buffering it says it improve performance when using with vsync

Try triple buffering,

Fast sync in drivers with vsync off in games is usually optimal. However, there are cases where fast sync plus in game vsync is needed for smoothness. With high refresh rate, try just fast sync. If its not smooth try in game vsync or limit in game fps to 144. Triple bufcering changes the normal stutter to a different pacing of stutter.
