My speed is only 50mbps down, so would the usb 3.0 be slower thhan that and would my ping be noticably higher?

Speed difference would be marginal but the latency (not ping, that's connection side iirc, but latency and ping result in the same thing) would be much better

Would latency be added hundreds or maybe something like 40 extra?

My ping in games is normally about 80 on my old mobo, would a usb ethernet be much larger than that or no?

How does the intel nic compare to the built in realtek ethernet?

Ok, so I just plugged in a portable Verizon hotspot into my PC via Ethernet and while it was slow, (13mbs down, 3 up, 167 ping) it still didn't have any ip address issues, leading my to believe that the issue is on att's end even though my mobile devices don't have those issues
