Partnering data cables with power cable?

Go to solution Solved by Lurick,

Unless you've got some really crappy cables that leak EMI like crazy, or if you're pairing them with high voltage cable, you should so no impact at all.

Quick question.

When doing a bit of a distance run from desk to PC (10-15ft), will you see any noticeable negative impact on data cables (cat6/usb) if you partner them with a power cable (e.g. zipties/velcro straps) to keep them tidy?

PS: Kind of a ubiquitous question; wasn't sure where to post it.

Thanks

I've done some pretty jank shit with power and data cables around 20 feet and I've seen no immediately obvious effects.

Yes there is a difference but only at the far end of the spectrum. Nothing noticeable in real world usage.

Thanks!
