UPDATE 4 (THE ANSWER/SOLVED):
- Tried a PS/2 IBM keyboard with an USB adapter and it worked I was able to erase the password. So turns out the bane of the existence of this motherboard was that it needed a PS/2 keyboard (even though it only has USB ports). SIGH! INTEL! BLEEP YOU! (PS: the Bluetooth Microsoft ALL-IN ONE Keyboard Works to get into the BIOS https://www.takealot.com/microsoft-all-in-one-media-keyboard/PLID34167213)
