DDR3L = DDR3 Low

It has lower voltages.

Lower voltage = less heat, more lifespan

I belive DDR3L is supported by Ivy and newer,so I think it's fine

i5 4670k @ 4.2GHz (Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo); ASrock Z87 EXTREME4; 8GB Kingston HyperX Beast DDR3 RAM @ 2133MHz; Asus DirectCU GTX 560; Super Flower Golden King 550 Platinum PSU;1TB Seagate Barracuda;Corsair 200r case.

When i bought it said 1.5 volt, on the actual ram it says 1.35 volt. Is it worse? Thanks for the answer, was really worried, got these on a good deal

DDR3L is just low voltage memory so it should work. The motherboard just provides it with a lower voltage which is better. udimm is just unbuffered memory and is quite common: http://www.computerhope.com/jargon/u/udimm.htm

As long as it has the speeds and CAS latency that you want, it will be fine.

i haven't tested it yet, i am wondering if i would return a reference 290 and wait for a aftermarket one, but i am not sure. I think i'll just use the reference one, i don't want to wait. I am also waiting for an SSD which will come in a few days.

The stock cooler on r9 290 is pretty loud from what I've heard.I'm waiting for aftermarket ones to release and then I'll make up my mind.

The lower the voltage at higher speeds and good CL (9 is fine) the better.

All it gives you is extra headroom to OC the ram at higher speeds (most of the time). Don't worry about it. They messed up and gave you better ram, or were out of 1.5v.

You got gskill sniper/samsung golden on the cheap basically. You will have a slightly less power bill if not OC'ing it.

CPU:24/7-4770k @ 4.5ghz/4.0 cache @ 1.22V override, 1.776 VCCIN. MB: Z87-G41 PC Mate. Cooling: Hyper 212 evo push/pull. Ram: Gskill Ares 1600 CL9 @ 2133 1.56v 10-12-10-31-T1 150 TRFC. Case: HAF 912 stock fans (no LED crap). HD: Seagate Barracuda 1 TB. Display: Dell S2340M IPS. GPU: Sapphire Tri-x R9 290. PSU:CX600M OS: Win 7 64 bit/Mac OS X Mavericks, dual boot Hackintosh.

yes, but i am quite used to loud computers, i have also a r4 so i think that it will bring the noise down a bit

Oh,kay then.I'm wondering if I should get an r9 280x or save a little more money for an r9 290.Oor maybe wait for aftermarket cards and see how their prices stack up.I've all the time right now.

i have the card right beside me... Just waiting for my ssd, it is kinda hard to wait a few more weeks when the parts are just lying there in your room:)

I would problably wait if i were you, the aftermarket ones should be worth the wait :) but as said, i am not a silence freak:)
