computer not shut down completely

now i got some problem where i get BSOD driver power state failure i don't know what it mean. i press power button but it like prepare to standby the system still spinning the HDD need to press power button for shut it down. it was dell studio xps 8100 something and still repair on that even i shut down the fan of the system is still spinning

Did you try to do it whit the windows start menue?

maybe your power button is mapped to standby
