CPU Overclocks Not Applying

I have a Ryzen 3 1200 at a base clock of 3.1 GHz and an A320M Gaming Pro Motherboard. In BIOS I changed clock speed to 3.8 GHz with a voltage of 1.3 GHz. I saved and exited BIOS just to find that CPUID, Task Manager, and HWMonitor all display the CPU still being at 3.1 GHz. Changing the clock speed to 3.7, 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3,3.2 GHz didn't seem to change it at all. I don't seen any difference in my CPU benchmarks or test than before so I assume the overclocks aren't applying and the CPU is staying at 3.1 GHz.  Any help?

your motherboard does not have the capability. overclocking AMD ryzen starts at the b350 platform. the a320 is a 'basic' platform.
