Will this ssd work

I bought a sandisk plus 120 Gb ssd just to install windows and some other programs onto but everyone seems to be using this for their laptops..... will this work in my desktop ?

may need a ssd bracket if you're attaching it to the HDD bays

Yes. Drives used in laptops for the most part can be used in desktops as well. The SATA interface is the same across drives, the only difference is the physical size of the drive. M.2. dimensions are same across laptop and desktop.
