MOBO - ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming
GPU - GALAX GTX 1080 EX OC SNPR
RAM - Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4 8GB
SSD - Samsung 850 Evo 250GB

HDD - Seagate Barracuda 4TB
CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
CASE - Corsair Obsidian 450D
PSU - EVGA Supernova 750 G2

your machine might use a proprietary driver for the sata controller that the windows 7 disk doesn't have. if it's a machine that is much newer or much older than windows 7 , or a server board using an oddball controller that usually wants windows server that can cause this too

To add to that...is this a standard iso or CD? Is this Windows 7 Home edition or some more enterprise or professional version?
