Evening all,

I’ve bought myself a nice new Ryzen 7 rig however I kept my CM690 case.

https://bit-tech.net/reviews/tech/cases/cooler-master-cm-690-ii-case-review/1/

On opening it I’ve realised it’s a bit dated....do I keep it and wipe away the years of dust, add some new fan filters to the side panels or do I replace it for something else for about £80?

Thanks,

Matt

Obviously this is a subjective thing, but you could change the case if, for no other reason,  you just want a new look.

Functionally I think that's still a good case.  A lot of new ones give up the excessive drive cages for front intake, etc, but even that's likely removable.  Maybe you want tempered glass, rgb, etc.

Never had the CM 690, but was considering it at one point just for the built-in HDD dock.
