I'm looking for a rugged Raspberry Pi 3 B+ case that can be mounted and be difficult to steal. The micro SD card also needs to be covered when placed into the case. This is being placed into a industrial environment.

Open to any suggestions.

Consider a regular Pi  case mounted inside a common wall mounted enclosure.

So like a electrical conduit box?

Get an aluminum case and concrete.

Not super practical... Also most aluminum cases have access to the micro SD card

how rugged are we talking? you want to submerge the thing in mud and water? or drive over it with a jeep? or just so it doesnt break if you drop it?

"You know it'll clock down as soon as it hits 40°C, right?" - "Yeah ... but it doesnt hit 40°C ... ever  😄"

Actually I was thinking more like a box with hinged door and lock. Something like 18028-6723685.jpg

in an appropriate size. Venting would have to be added as would openings for any required wiring.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Maybe not that extreme but just mountable so it doesn't move. Its just being placed on a mobile card with 4 printers on it. Pretty much you need tools to remove the case/unit if you really want to steal it, aka a screw driver. That's all

That could work but that requires some modification to get mount holes and wires ran. Company stuff so buy without modification or little modification is best
