Nexus 5 camera error: Can't connect to the camera

Hello,

I am having some problems with my Nexus 5 with Android 6.0.1. Few days ago my camera stopped working, receiving the error mentioned in the title. Flashlight is not working as well. I have already tried the following:

• reboot

• wipe cache partition

• boot into safe mode and try to use camera there

• factory reset

• replacing the camera module with another one from a working nexus

None of the above worked, so I am out of ideas. Do you have any suggestions regarding this issue?
