Im wanting to build a MATX PC inside a guitar amp shell all internal amp components removed but im wanting to use all dials and switchs on the amp. How would i go about connecting all dials and switchs?? I want the dials to be able to control what ever is written on them on the amp e.g volume to control volume and bass to control the bass. I Also want to use the input as a mic input and output as the  audio output i understand that it will be 6.3mm input and output to look authentic

well...the first part sounds like a cool idea...and the second part about the switch actually controlling sofwatre imputs on the computer itself seem IMO impossible to do...unless you really really know what you're doing and has budget and knowledge to aquire electronics and mod a lot of stuff yourself i don't see how you could get it done personally...

The inputs and outputs won't be too big of a hassle. You just need to wire them up to an internal header that can go on the front I/O breakout.

The dials are, however, a different story.

Do you by any chance know if they are analog or digital potentiometers? I know Marshall has done both and it's a pain in the ass.

If they're analog you'll need some kind of DAC circuitry that you can couple with a system wide DSP.

If they're digital you would need a circuitry that can translate the signal into a more unfied standard and then couple that with the formentioned DSP.
