File system error?

whenever I try to open an image with Windows Photos i get this error:

 

I tried to repair the disk with "chkdsk /f" in command prompt but didnt work

Do you know of any recent windows updates that have occurred? It seems it's possible windows photo viewer didn't update with it and this conflict can make it crash with your specific error code.

 

To be honest I'd look into a 3rd party photo viewer. I've been meaning to do this myself. For videos/music I've been using VLC player for years now but I don't know if it does photos.
