Infinite Windows Boot Loop

Hi

So I made a mistake. My sister's computer had a virus so she asked for my help. I went to boot into windows safe mode (through msconfig method), but that didn't work. I instead chose to do a "MSI factory reset" because it was a new laptop and she didn't care if I partitioned the drive. After that was done preparing or something, it said to proceed downloading windows, I have to get out of safe mode. I pressed okay and assumed it would do it's thing, but it keeps asking the same thing. How do I get out of this factory reset/safe mode loop?

Make a bootable usb stick with windows 10 on it and boot from that:

 

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Go to this website on another computer, use a usb drive of 4gb or above and let it do its thing

Then plug it into your sister's computer and boot from it, you may have to adjust the boot order to do so. It should give the option of reinstalling windows from scratch.

aight. Does that mean I need a new windows key?

No, that should be hardcoded in the laptop itself, at least it is nowadays with most newer laptops. It may come up with 'Activate windows' in the bottom right corner initially, but once you run the updates, it'll be fine.
