Hello,

yesterday my Hyper X Clound II developed a hummin/Buzzing noise, when the Microphone is plugged in and unmuted. However it disappears, when I ground myself either on my case or my radiator. Does anyone know, what i could do about that. The Hum/Buzz is not present, when I do use the 3,5mm jack without the USB-Sound Card. When I use the Soundcard with my Laptop the Hum/Buzz is present, when I am near a Lamp or electrical Wiring. Does anyone know, what I could do about it?

Thanks in advance

That bundled USB sound card is likely extremely cheaply built and low quality one.

So wouldn't wonder if it picks AC interfence.

Frequency is like these, isn't it?

That AC frequency signal is everywhere around us.

Touching measuring probe of oscilloscope with finger gives rather nice sine wave, with human body working as antenna for it.

While touching grounded object likely shorts that signal to ground.

I'll check tomorrow if oscilloscope still finds that AC frequency signal when I'm myself "grounded".
