Better psu and case, worse headphones and a rx 580 4gb would b better for 1080p or a 580 8gb which would be better for 1440p.

1. Budget & Location

My location is the U.S and my budget for my whole setup is $1100 including mouse, headset, monitor, PC

2. Aim

The system will be used for gaming mainly at high-ultra settings for 70-120+ FPS on games like GTA 5, Rainbow Six siege, CS:GO, and many indie titles like ROTMG and Stardew Valley, DST

3. Monitors

One monitor will do the job for me!

4. Peripherals

Yes everything from a mouse to a keyboard to a headset minus the OS which I plan to buy on kinguin

5. Why are you upgrading?

I’m going from Console to PC for the more variety of games and especially the competitive games as I am very competitive and see not to much competition on console like before

For anyone wondering I did browse through other recent budget build posts to get some ideas. But wanted to ask for myself and one that fit my budget.

I also thank anyone in advance for help on my build list as I’ve been spending 2 months going through different pc setups and decided that this best fits my needs, but am eager to get input from the community and start my build before school.

If I wanted a better case what could I look for?

another concern is with the GPU is the MSI Radeon rx580 better or just stick with Asus also I’m concerned about any coil whine or heat temps getting to high.

The asus one has 2 fans and is 20$ cheaper than any alternative, but make sure the msi one has 8gb of vram.

Yea the MSI has 8gb VRM and 2 fans also, and the only difference is the core clock and boost clock, but I believe that the Asus 1.27 core and 1.37 boost won’t be much of a difference compared to the MSI 1.34 core and 1.38 boost for $20.

Yeah its your choice, but you can overclock the asus one to basically the MSI one
