how wide is the fan at its widest point. If it is 14cm or less you will be fine and if it uses the mounting for 12 cm fans you should also be fine. Although the clips that fans go in on the front of the r4 will not go into this fan because the screws are in the wrong place unless they are standard 120mm mounting screws. Go to a store and if you have a r4 take the front fan panel with you and try and fit them in the store. That is the best way to ensure that the fans fit in the system.

The old NF-P14 was 140x140x25 - so should fit anywhere a standard 140 does - BUT does require 120mm fan mounting. So it you have a 120/140 area, should fit. But, if it was a 140mm only fan mount, then it wouldn't.
