ROG Strix or Maximus?

Hey guys ^^

 

I´m currently picking parts for my new PC and I´m a bit stuck on the mobo. I know I want a ROG mobo but I´m not quite sure whether to pick a Strix or a Maximus. I want to stay on that 130€ budget.

Maximus boards are generally the more high-tier Asus board, but they're dramatically more expensive. If you can find a €130 Maximus board, it's probably a nice pickup.

make sure that the board you are plaing to buy lists your cpu the supported list, intel isnt known to keep compatibility for long

If you're looking for Strix and/or Maximus boards with Aura support, it's best to look on Asus' website showcasing Aura, there you can search all the boards that support Asus Aura.
