Problem with GTX 970

970 works in an old phenom system but when I put it in my pc with an z77 motherboard and i5 3570k i get no picture, tried it with an lga 1150 motherboard same problen no picture but not with the old phenom system..

I have an 850w psu, tried reseted cmos but still doesnt work. Is it some newer BIOS functions that are conflicting with the gpu? Cuz when I plug in the gpu in the old system its plug and play but with the newer mobos I get no signal on the display.
