A gaming mouse

Hey Guys!

 

I recently bought a Gaming mouse from a nearby computer shop that has 7 colours (i don't think RGB would suit such a small peripheral) backlighting which is in a view that it can be seen from the sides while using it. Now it was for $5 and in my country the currency is Rupees (Pakistani), and it is for Rs. 550, which isn't a very low nor high value to pay, and just for a quick comparison, I can buy around 19 packets of Lay's salted chips (the standard size). Back to the mouse, so I wanted to ask if I should just leave it connected when I leave for a break of 20 minutes or so (it can up to 1 hour longer so...), with the PC on and the mouse backlit (changing colours constantly)?

 

Now forgive me if you find this question dumb, but I am just new to Gaming peripherals and the customizations, you can use Engineering and Tech Terms as I am a Techie and study computers and Engineering

Does that really apply to a cheapo like mine or the good ones like Logitech and G.Skill?
