You don't need to SLI and you can keep window pro if you want to use bitlocker and built in option to delay updates.

This has to be a troll, 1 post, and who would spend this much money unnecessarily but cheap out on the boot drive? The monitor they picked isn't even the g-sync version.

Hey @OnlyAnonymous60, this is quite a build. Only thing I would change is the RAM. I've used both G.Skill and Corsair RGB RAM myself, G.Skill Trident Z RGB is nothing compared to the Corsair RGB Vengeance Pro. The Corsair RAM has 10 addresable RGB's per stick while the G.Skill has only 5 per stick. Since you are also buying Corsair's LL120 fans, the Vengeance Pro can sync up perfectly with those fans with the iCue software that you can download on Corsair's website (the software is a free download).

Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820236406&cm_re=vengeance_rgb_pro-_-20-236-406-_-Product

^^This RAM doesn't come in 16 GB sticks tho, so you can get eight (8x8 GB = 64 GB) of these instead for roughly the same price as the G.Skill you currently have listed.

This is personal preference, but I'd also get two ROG Strix 1080 Ti GPU's instead, and also their RGB SLI bridge since these three can be synced with your motherboard through ASUS Aura sync.

ASUS ROG SLI Bridge: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814997019

Hope this helps, otherwise your parts are great.

GPUs are powerful enough that if you need more than one, it's better and more cost effective to just get the card the next step up.

SLI is losing popularity and fewer games are supporting it. There also isn't as much benefit to running it due to that.

The only real cause for SLI right now is if you want to drive a resolution that one card cannot sufficiently provide, such as 8K.
