I’m building a $675 budget gaming pc with the GPU being used from ebay and the motherboard being manufacture refurbished.

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 ($149.99 on amazon)

Motherboard: Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 (refurbished) ($69 on newegg)

RAM: 2x4GB Crucial Ballistix Sport LT DDR4 2400MHz ($75 on newegg)

GPU: GTX 1060 6GB (finding a used one under $240 on ebay)

Storage: 128GB Sandisk Z400s M.2 (I pulled this one off of my broken laptop)

PSU: EVGA 500 BQ ($37 from amazon prime day)

Case: InWin 301 ($76 on amazon)

Fans: Thermaltake Riing 12 Red LED Triple pack (the inwin case doesn’t include any fans but these are $35 on amazon)

Fan Splitter: Rosewill Fan Splitter (My motherboard has 3 fan headers, 1 for cpu, 2 for case, but it’s $4 on amazon)

All comes a total of just about $675. Of course it might be less if I find a 1060 6GB under $240, which I stumbled across a ton. All of these prices includes tax but are not exact. Each part price are just and estimate but are a few cents more or less.

I know the InWin 301 has bad airflow but it was the smallest I can find other than the thermaltake v21 being wide. I’m using high static pressure fans and hopefully the temps won’t be as bad as I’ve seen/heard from reviews of this case. I also heard that it also has bad cable management but I’ve seen some pictures and they actually aren’t that bad. Anyways, how do you guys like it?

What monitor are you planning on using?

What ram speed?

I’m planning to use the HP 23es monitor. It’s $119 at bestbuy and I know it’s not the best monitor, but it does the job.

Ram speed is 2400Mhz. I forgot to list it.

For Ryzen you're going to need faster to get the most out of the CPU? What is the PC for?

Could save some money on the case and get probable better airflow at the expense of maximum fan capacity with either of these.

I’m looking for a small MicroATX mini tower and the inwin 301 was the slimmest I could find.
