Go into the task manager and give your game 4 cores 8 threads and give OBS 4 cores 8 threads using CPU affinity.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Screenshot your OBS settings, Try disabling "Enforce Stream side encoder settings"

Not sure if somethings different in that version of OBS I just use studio.

In which part you notice lag? OBS informing dropped frames? Preview being laggy? Or the stream viewers see being laggy?

all 3

OBS dropping frames means your network or Twitch network isn't able to handle load of bitrate. That is solved by using another Twitch server or lowering your bitrate. Viewer side lagging means that their download speed can't handle your output bitrate. Which is also solved by dropping bitrate. Lag on preview would mean that your hardware has trouble encoding. I'm not quite sure how to fix that with my limited knowledge streaming.

I'm not seeing resolution listed anywhere, but ya try to disable stream side encoder settings. Try rescale output and make sure it's set to 1080p.

Also try the normal OBS Studio.

You should not have any issues streaming with that PC, did you already try forcing CPU affinity?

Or using OBS studio?

yea i set 8 threads to pub and 8 to obs , cinebench scored around 1800

It seems to be performing just fine...you could always try a completely fresh windows install.

Or maybe there's just some random settings that's tanking your performance.

What does your task manager and OBS window look like while streaming? If you only have one monitor just run the game in a 1080p window and move it to the side.

i actually tried to contact microsoft support about the window install , it wont let me install window and said errors occurred and paused the install . i think it might have something to do with that , my total cpu usage while streaming pubg is around 50-70% with obs set to priority high in task manager

What are you using to try and install windows? Just download the media creation tool and make a bootable USB if you haven't already.

I meant an actual screenshot to look at core/thread usage.

If you're trying to get rid of any issue with windows you want to wipe everything and just do a fresh install.

FPS looks fine, there's just some bottleneck in getting your stream out.

What happens if you try to do a recording on the same settings without streaming?
