So... I just built my first custom PC (for gaming purposes) and am trying SLI. For some reason, my computer is acting like the SLI bridge isn't even plugged in. I'm using a ROG STRIX Z370-E Motherboard and 2 Geforce GTX 960 GPU's. help pls. thank

Are you sure you have enough pci lanes left to use two cards? Are both showing up in device manager?

Both cards show up I assume, cpu supports the lane requirements and you are on a compatible os.

If a clean install of drivers hasn't been done yet, id try to get another bridge. Though I doubt that's the issue with so little info.

1. Troubleshoot the SLI bridge if you got a second one laying around

2. Troubleshoot the PCI-E slots. Remove one of the cards, then try and boot with one card only in both PCI-E slots.

3. Troubleshoot both graphics cards. Do the same as in (2) but with the other card.

4. Test the cards in a different system

5. Test different cards in your system

6. Nvidia tech support

7. Asus tech support

I have to ask, are you sure both cards are getting enough power?
