hi, i set my voltage in the bios to 1.425 to accommodate a 5.3ghz OC, although in HWmonitor, Vcore is going up to a max of 1.472.

Is this safe? temps are around 70-80. I know people say 1.425 is about all you'll want to go to do 24/7 use, but by that do they mean a bios setting of 1.38? as that is what i have to set for vcore to be 1.425.

Thanks

Haven't broken something with an OC yet... YET.

I am a total newbie to overclockig but i would take no risks until I am sure that it'll work fine.

I think you too just don't want to loose a $260 cpu for a few mhz. :D

Get out of here with your flawless logic lol!
