Hello, I recently purchased a Magni 3 and Modi 2 and I want to know how to get the best sound out of them, like which position to put the little switch on the Modi 2.

I am using Ugreen LR cables and just a standard printer cable for the Modi 2. Listening to high quality Wav music.

LOL my set arrived yesterday and I set it to simple mode (24/96K) as I only really game and it seemed fantastic so I will watch here for all the tips!

Different sound for sure from my motherboard (which is very decent) to o2 amp previous set up.

The additional power for my Fostex MK3 T50RP Headphones is noted, but i need to play with high/low gain regarding the detail delivered.

You don't need another cable, the printer cable is fine. Upgrading the usb cable will change nothing unless you wanna get a specific cable for looks.
