Plug it in to any PCIe 1x slot and then isntal the drivers. Most mobo's don't come with wireless cards and a lot dont support them. All you need is the PCE-AC66 and a free PCIe slot.

Do you have any knowledge of how reliable/good it is? I am only wondering cause I have had problems with my connection before due to distances and walls and such.

It is a good card, but ir depends on what router you have, for that card you should have an AC router like this. http://www.asus.com/us/Networking/RTAC66R/
