Hello there!

I finally decided I want to get watercooling for my pc. Could anyone help me get like started? I dont really know what I need and what the requirments are, Can I mix copper and aluminum in my loop?

I have a i7 7700K, GTX 1070 FE, in a Corsair obsidian 450D

Thanks!

If you aren't even sure of how to create a custom water cooler, than I suggest you just buy an All-in-one water cooler for your build. Custom watercooling is advanced and also brings along risks of damage to other components. You should just go for the safer, easier and probably cheaper way buy just buying an aio water cooler.

Buy a heatsink or an AIO.

If you really want to build a custom watercooling loop then you need to have the money for it, at least $500, and also the time to spend a few weeks or months researching everything so you understand how it works.

It is not as simple as just plugging stuff in and it works.

If all your research consists of is asking what parts to buy on a forum then you're literally learning nothing about watercooling and will probably have a leak that kills your PC components.

Once you're able to choose your own watercooling components and know how to design a loop then you will be ready to build one.

I currently have an AIO. I know roughly what parts I need but I'm not sure of trusted brands e.g
