Windows lowering volume

I got the HyperX Cloud Stingers and after i got them, any backgroud application sound lowers the sound of a game. For example. When i mute my mic on Discord the game audio drops around 50%. The thing didn't happen on my old headset. Help is appreciated.

Did you install any applications with the headset?

I did not.

Try setting volume in the bottom right of ur screen to 79%. (master volume)

In Control Panel -> All Control Panel Items -> Sound -> Communications tab and change the setting to "Do nothing" if it hasn't already.

 

Though I don't think this should be causing problems but you never know.
