Why would you get a water cooler for a locked i7? Why would you get a last-gen i7 if Coffee lake is out for a while now. Also, you don't need a Z270 board for a locked chip. I would switch to a 8600K or a 8700K and get a Z370 board. Otherwise the build seems fine. (Aside from the cheap-o monitor that is 2560x1080 60hz)- your GPU is way to powerful for that resolution combined with this refresh rate. Also, I would not recommend 21x9 with sizes lower than 29"- 32". The 25" monitors are really short and aren't all that comfortable to use.

Just a quick recommendation from me:

You currently have a locked sku CPU and and overclocking board, with a high end cooler. If you want to overclock, you need to get the 7700K, not just the 7700.

Looks good to me otherwise!! Enjoy the 21:9 monitor.

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/

Seems good in my opinion, maybe the ssd could replaced depending on what are you going to use it, if you are only going to game on it maybe a sasmung 860evo(non m.2) could be better, while the m.2 is faster it's not noticable in gaming or everyday use, so you could maybe get a 860 evo 512gb for a similar price and performance.

Also i don't like the mouse but thats really personal, if you like the shape it should be good for you.

I went with the water cooler Honestly because i wanted to, Yes i though about a k series and that is a possibility since the price difference is about 100€ so i will probably go with a k. i went is last gen because there are no affordable z370 boards on the store in question and z because i might go with a k processor and might want sli in the future. As far as the monitor, again availability bust mostly i dont know crap about monitors.

periferals are placeholder. and SSD is mostly boot drive and mostly used apps so 250gb should be enough for me

If you got a i5 8400 it would be similar in performance to a  7-gen i7 and will have more support for the future. If you got the 8400 you could save enough money for a Z370 board. Water cooling isn't really worth it, but if you like the aesthetics, go for it. (it's kind of a waste of money though). When it comes to the monitor, i would step up to a LG 29U69G at least, to benefit from the width of ultra wide monitors. The card is also quite overpowered and a 1080 would be more balanced for a build of this price.

Nothing wrong with Intel but buy an i7 8700K and Z370 chipset instead. There must be other places you can buy from if that store doesn't have everything ?

there are, but to be honest i like this store, the have the best pricing in my area when i bought my laptop some years ago. I've bought from them before so i trust the store, i haven't bought from the other stores

as long as i don't blow the 2500€ margin i'm good, and if need be i can hold off on the monitor and use my tv in the mean time (yes i know, tv as pc monitor sucks)

yeah, even a 1070 would be good for my usage. Yeah, I wanted that monitor but its out of stock (doesn't mean i wont buy it, I plan on building late 2018, early 2019, should have the 2500€ by then and some parts will prob be cheaper then)

If you are planing to build in late 2018, this build will be out of date. Nvidia will release the 11XX cards in the near future.

Well then, you should wait, i know i like to plan myself, but nvidia will drop the next gen and maybe even intel will come out with the next generation( they will release new stuff but maybe not a new generation), prices will change a lot so just wait and start planning the exact parts few weeks before you are actually going to buy it.

This could change but depending on the 11xx pricing i may stick with the 10xx

Even then, used 10xx will be A LOT cheaper.

I'd say keep the list you generate saved and queue up, and maybe spend 30 minutes a week curating it to keep it highest performance inside budget you can manage, then when it is finally time to get all the parts you can be sure that all the effort you put in on your plan will be rewarded and you'll get the most bang for each and every single one of your hard earned Euros.

Suggest using PCPartsPicker and making an account there if you don't yet have one. Such a great tool for streamlining the process, and if you want you can choose to go with a single vendor selection there as well, plus if you absolutely have to buy from somewhere else for the build it's entirely possible to curate in the cost of that part as long as it's on the list. Wishing they'd add back in custom part creation again though.

Rawr.

Yup, thats the plan.

I used PCPP to pick the parts originaly, my build there was different than this. I then checked on the store i plan on buying from to make my "final" list
