So I just started comparing Intel and AMD budget builds by making spreadsheets and not relying on other's benchmarks. But now all the AMD chipsets and specs are done and the only things left are the INTEL Chipsets, and THEY ARE SO CONFUSING, cause I can't find them as a list or something like I found AMD's (or just knew them). And so I just want someone to list down or link me to a website that has ALL INTEL 8TH GEN CHIPSETS. And I also don't know the compatibility through INTEL Chipsets, but I understand all the AMD side.

Hoping for a positive response,

Basil

EDIT: I AM NOT AN AMD FANBOY (it's really confusing to be one thses dayz tho)

Any LGA 1151 with a '3' in the first number.  That's it i believe.  I don't think the LGA 1151 2s or 1s are compatible with Coffee lake

But as above, just look at the Wiki first at least 9_9

I might be wrong but doesnt the i9 need a different mobo than the 1151 socket? Didnt really look into the extreme cpus

Yeah that's a completely different CPU package.  OP is putting together a budget build though so, no sweat really
