I am looking at buying the Acer XB241H for G-Sync and I will be playing more casual games such as Fortnite but I will also be playing competitive games such as Rainbow Six Siege. I'm aware of what G-Syn does and its huge benefits but if it is going to considerably increase input lag that is a deal breaker for me. Does anyone know if it increases input lag and by how much?

Not to any measurable degree, from my tests at least.

i think battlenonsence made a video testing that you could look it up but the added latency was pretty insignificant

Thanks. There is some extremely accurate testing done in the video and G-Sync only adds 1.6ms of input lag in the most extreme case. I don't think anybody would be able to notice that tiny increase.

I researched alot online and found no evidence of any input lag to be concerned with.

But make sure you need G-Sync, i.e you will be playing games that your rig can't out put the refresh rate of your monitor.

Personally I limit my FPS with MSI/River Tuner and set a custom refresh rate on my monitor, and it's glorious across all my games, with the odd dip as I play alot of demanding alphas that are not best optimised yet.
