Mac Mini Cluster with other PC

Go to solution Solved by KarathKasun,

#1 OK

#2 no

#3 doesnt do that

#4 doesnt do that either

Its more for things like... scientific math (folding@home for example) or doing large ray-tracing/rendering projects (POV RAY, Maya, 3DS-Max).

Speed up Mac Mini by clustering it with faster computer??

is it possible??

Can I pool computer resources to Mac Mini and speed up its task by clustering it up with my gaming pc??

will it increase performance?? Video editing?? Gaming??

can I cluster all of my PCs to make a powerful computer??

How to do it properly??

Thank You :);)

If you are asking this, you have lots of computer science studying to do first.

Some 3D rendering programs have a way to do this, but it is not simple to setup.

I just want a simple cluster setup!!

Can we do it with MacOS ?? Actually I want to speed up my Mac Mini !!

You would need to convert it over to Linux AFAIK.

Also, you have to get cluster aware software.  Normal software will not work.

Private cloud server, media server, general file server, IRC server, VoIP hub, TOR router, VPN bridge/server, and tons more.

These things arent sexy, but can be invaluable if you are on the road or need things accessible from any device in your home.
