so the open air design means that the fans on the card are pushing towards the heatsink, not vice versa. if the fans on the gpu are pushing air towards your fans, thats not good.

I have decided that for now i wont add the bottom fans, but if the gpu gets too toasty i will consider it.

So im getting the thermaltake core v21 and looking at pcpartpicker completed builds i have noticed that many people have added 2 fans on the bottom of the case that blow excactly onto the gpu. Would that help with gpu cooling (i have the zotac 1080ti mini) or are these fans there just for style points?

If these actually help with overall temps my plan would be to have 2 bequiet pure wings 2 fans there, and 3 thermaltake riing fans for the rest of the case (2 top, 1 back) in the front of the case is 1x 200mm included fan.

is that a blower, if its a blower, then it should help, if its not, then you should reverse thefans.

That is the bottom of the case. these are 2x intakes on the bottom, the card is an open air design not blower. The case is just put on the side for this picture.

Every GPU I've ever seen has fans that blow on to the card, not up off the card.
