1070ti or 1080

Im only gonna be playing on 1080p 75hz monitor, will a 1070ti be sufficient enough to play it on ultra setting at any games? I'll up my monitor to 1440p 144hz next year tho(probably july 2019)

My cpu: i5 8600k

Ram 16gb 2x8 ddr4 cl13 3200mhz

You'll max out pretty much every game at 1080p75 with a 1070 Ti, but 1440p144 is not achievable on Ultra even with a 1080 Ti for some games.

if you don't have a price limit I would get a 1080 ti, it will do everything you want and more, future proof the pc for the next at lest 5 years.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070ti is a bit beefed up from 1080 but I recommend 1080ti for open world games.

No, the 1070 Ti is Slightly worse than the 1080. It's literally a 1080 with 128 CUDA cores deactivated. It has 2432 Vs 2560. The performance difference is proportionally worse.

This question would depend on the specific video card you're buying, and where you are buying it from.

Assuming you're from the US, then I would suggest a 1080. It's just $50 more expensive than the 1070 ti.

Based on reviews, at least; the 1070 ti that are being sold by board partners are lower-binned ones which do not OC as high as the FE. With that, I'm making a suggestion that you get a 1080 instead.
