Help With Part Picking

Scheer

Well I assume you guys are probably getting tired of threads like this, but I'd like a bit of help if you could.

My H100i pump died, so I figure it is time to do a custom loop. All I will be doing is the CPU as I have 780 HOF card and I like the looks of the cooler on it. Anyways here is what I have picked out so far:

D5 Pump: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=37680:0289d77808f9d3e684690ba0fe5b5b69

XSPC AX240 Rad (the white version, but it is OOS): http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=36038:7ddd46c9e7d2c979dfd5fb0255a86f35

XSPC Dual Bay Res: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=34300:1d4dc6749a9e0b28429edcaffa450cad

XSPC Raystorm CPU Block: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=32331:3617bfae9efb036402c821c7bfd9ce72

Its going in a Define R4, pump and res in the 5.25 bays, and the rad in the front. I already have everything removed as that is where I mounted my H100i and I really like the clean look of it. Now onto the part I am having issues with, the fittings and tubing.

I like the clean look of the E22 clear hard acrylic, but cannot find much for information on fittings. I've seen a few companies that have special fittings just for hard line, but some are very stubby and say they are for GPU blocks, so will they not compress to hold the pipe in? I'd prefer to go that route as they look better in my opinion, but I don't want the pipe to slip right out.

I'm also a little confused on the fill port as it is on the top of the res. If I mount it in the 5.25 slots there would be no way for me to get to it with hard line. Will I need to T off the line and mount a fill port on the top of the case?

Thanks in advance guys.

really not a lot to say on hardline fittings other than they are a slip-fit connection.

the sealing is done by the internal o-ring(s) in the fitting and the outer diameter of

the tubing. alignment, clean fitting end, and smooth cut is pretty much all there is.

you'd want to cut the acrylic to the exact size to keep pressure in between the

connections. any non-pressure connection could be possible stabilization issues.

they can just slip right out.

the reservoir used an M20 thread, so you'll need an adapter:

XSPC M20xG1/4" adapter and you favorite hardline fitting and fill port to plumb

for external fill.
