Graphics Card Help

I need help picking a graphics card I want to get a monitor that is 2560x1080 and 144hz but I am not sure what graphics card to power with it to get the full experience that the monitor can offer. I like play Rainbow 6 siege BF4, GTA 5 and other AAA games

Maybe a 1070, or a 1070ti. Could go for a 1080 for future upgeades.

1070/Ti or a 980Ti. 1080P 144Hz is easy to hit with lower end hardware with configured settings.

I agree with @AskTJ

if you can get a decent 980ti you can play 1080p there is no need to go 1080ti unless you got the budget.
