Need a New Mouse!

Go to solution Solved by skullbringer,

Have you happened to hear whether the Corsair M65 is decent? It's on sale for £40 at my local hardware store.

yes, I forgot to mention the M65. Also a great piece of hardware for its price. As its on sale, Id say pick it up.

Okay, so I've had my logitech G300 for a while now, and for a fairly budget-oriented mouse, I've been pretty happy with it. It's finally given out on me though, as when trying to look down my sights in BF4 and other similar games, it will randomly zoom in and out of the sights. I wanted to replace it anyway, this just gives me an excuse to get one.

So I don't play one game type more than any other, I go from MMO's like WoT, RPG's like Fallout and the Eldar Scrolls, to FPS's like Battlefield 4. I'm looking for a decent all-rounder.

My budget is around the £50 or $70-$80 mark.

Any of the new Logitech mice (like the G400s, G500s, G602) would be a great replacement.

Another option would be the Razer Deathadder. All of these are fairly simplistic and would probably fit your requirements.

I recently got a Logitech G602 for Christmas and I'm liking it after getting used to it. I replaced my Razer Naga with it, as I don't really need as many buttons since I'm kinda done with WoW, and the G602 has a nice amount of buttons without being too much. It is wireless, which may be a pro or con depending on how you look at it, but they claim is has 250 hours of life off two AA batteries...So far I'd recommend it :) Definitely a good all around mouse

Logitech G400s, Razer Deathadder 2013, Steelseries Rival. All these are good choices for the games you play. If you have medium to big hands, I'd say go for the Rival. If you have a bit smaller hands, then go for the G400s. The Deathadder is known to have quality issues, double clicking, faulty or way too soft right click etc. I have both a double click issue and soft right click on mine. No problems with the Rival though so far.

Okay, so I went for the Corsair Vengeance M65. It was reduced from £68 to £50 on Amazon, and I love the look of it. My G300 has always felt a little small too. My hands are probably larger than average, so going for a bigger mouse should feel a lot better.
